Sometimes I wish I could leave a manual for life for my daughter to help her get through, but then I think that would take all the fun out of living. So instead I'll give her some rules to follow:
1. When on a dinner date, order the steak and limit yourself to ONE glass of wine.
2. Let him take your coat. That’s the moment he’s been waiting for.
4. Don’t sleep with your bra on.
5. Yes, your skirt is too short.
6. Having an accent does not make him more sophisticated.
7. If you want to look older, try plastic surgery.
8. Keep a bottle of Champagne in the fridge and ice cream in the freezer.
9. Drive a stick-shift.
11. You don’t need to do anything to try to impress him, he already thinks your perfect.
12. A smile is your best accessory.
13. Dance with your father. And not just on your wedding day.
