Now that she is almost 2, Sophie is practically an expert on this whole life thing. Here are some lessons I've happily learned from my sparkly-eyed princess:
1. Laughter does NOT have any prerequisites.
2. When you're done vomiting, it's time to run around and celebrate!
3. When you don't get what you want, cry for a minute or two, then just enjoy what you do have.
4. Change can be hard, but it always turns out better than you expected
5. Having fun is just as important as doing work.
6. Sleep really does make everything more beautiful.
7. The world is so much more interesting when you are spinning.
8. Nothing is more important in life than spending time with someone you love.
I'm teaching her how to write so hopefully someday she can write us all a book.
